Overview

Fasswerk combines handcrafted products with a digital sales experience that brings together presentation, configuration, and ecommerce.

For this project, we built the website and webshop as well as a custom barrel configurator that allows products to be configured directly online. The goal was not only a high-quality digital presence, but also a process that makes complex product options understandable and supports digital product sales in a practical way.

What we built

The key element of the project is the configurator, embedded in a website and shop structure that connects brand presence and purchase flow cleanly.

Timeless website with strong product focus

Together with Fasswerk’s marketing team, we developed a refined and durable digital presence for the brand and its product range.

Webshop based on WooCommerce

The shop structure was implemented so products are not only presented well, but also moved directly into a functioning purchase process.

Custom barrel configurator built with Vue.js

Wood type, color, interior setup, coating, and further options were translated into a dedicated configurator and integrated directly into WooCommerce.

Bringing product complexity into usable UX

The configurator had to support many possibilities without overwhelming users with technical or visual complexity.

The challenge was not only the webshop itself, but a configurator that had to represent many pricing and variant rules in a way that stayed understandable and reliable.

Technical implementation

The website and shop were built with WordPress and WooCommerce, while the configurator was implemented as a dedicated Vue.js component directly inside that setup.

This resulted in more than a standard shop implementation. It created a digital sales process tailored to Fasswerk’s specific product logic. The configurator acts as the key sales tool and translates a physical, highly customizable product into a clear online process.
