Overview

For DIRECT MAIL HOUSE AG, we built tapcard as a platform for digital business cards and modern networking.

Users can maintain rich contact profiles with profile image, addresses, phone numbers, and additional contact information. When a card is tapped to a phone via NFC, the recipient can save the contact directly or leave their own contact details behind.

What we built

Tapcard is not just a digital profile page, but a platform that combines contact exchange, company-wide management, and measurable usage.

Digital business card profiles

Each person can manage a detailed profile with photo, addresses, phone numbers, and further contact information.

NFC-based contact exchange

When a card is held to a phone, contact information can be saved directly without requiring an app on the recipient side.

Team management for companies

Companies can manage multiple cards centrally and keep team-level information and card assignments under control.

Analytics and interaction tracking

The platform gives visibility into usage and interactions so companies can better understand how their digital cards are being used.

Technical implementation

The project required more than a marketing site. It had to support user profiles, company administration, and reactive workflows in one coherent product.

We implemented the platform with Laravel, Livewire, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS. This provided a technically lean but capable stack for profile management, team administration, analytics, and day-to-day platform use.
